We had some exciting news to share. 
But I always feel like big news like this is so awkward to just casually bring up in conversation.
I play it out in my mind:
“How are you?”
“I’m good. How are you?”
“Uh…
Pregnant.”
I mean, there’s just no non-awkward way to bring it up in conversation. So instead, we enlisted the help of a very talented friend to help us share the news.
We had great dreams for this adorable little photo shoot. Jevan Cole (e-mail him for his photography services at jevancole@gmail.com) and my dear friend, Becky Jetter (visit her delightfully uplifting blog here) met us in a cute little historic downtown area on a very, very cold Saturday afternoon to take some shots for us. But we had a very hungry, fairly tired, and somewhat cold baby, so…well, the pictures tell the story. (Am I bad parent for laughing terribly at these?)
Ok, these ones aren’t so bad…
But these make me laugh…and feel slightly guilty…but mostly laugh…
Obviously Ollie’s thrilled, and can’t wait to be a big brother!
